I am a graduate of both Loyola University Maryland and Fordham University. At Loyola, I earned my Bachelor's degree in History and Spanish. I studied numerous aspects of World History and focused my thesis on Medieval Spain. I earned my Master's from Fordham in Medieval Studies, with concentrations in History and Islamic Studies. After earning my Master's, I worked in Spain as an English Teaching Assistant for a bilingual high school in Madrid over the past academic year. I had the privilege to lead classes in various subjects, namely English, History, and Art, while also giving students one-on-one attention to help with particular difficulties they were having in English. My tutoring experience began as a peer tutor at Loyola, where I tutored History and Spanish. In Spain I tutored students, teachers, and parents in English. My favorite subjects to tutor are Spanish and History because they are essential for the development of communicative and analytic skills, which are essential for success in university and graduate level studies.During my lessons, I effectively collaborate with my students to discover their learning tendencies and habits so that they can quickly develop a strong understanding of the subject based on their strengths. My lessons are filled with discussion and dialogue in order that my students do not become bored with the material, but remain engaged and do not feel like they are being lectured. My goal in tutoring is to ensure that my students become motivated to constantly improve themselves; in doing so, they will develop a lifelong love of learning and a drive to succeed in any aspect of life.Aside from teaching, I am an avid sports fan, particularly of football, baseball, soccer, and golf. I also enjoy traveling, having done so extensively throughout Spain and other places in Europe, such as Rome, Paris, and Germany. There is nothing quite like speaking the native language (whether it's Spanish or broken French, Italian, and German) and experiencing the architecture, food, art, and music of all these places far away from home. These experiences have reinforced my appreciation for History and Spanish, as well as for the diversity of the world in which we live.

I am a current student at Marquette University. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and will be earning a bachelors as well as a masters degree in 5 years total. My focus on mechanical engineering and systems is due to my love of putting things together and drawing conclusions from physical representations. This was instilled at a young age as I had a deep love of Legos.My favorite subject to tutor is algebra. Algebra features so many of the basic mathematical tools which become instinct in higher level math like calculus, my favorite subject to study.I have a varied repertoire of subjects which I tutor as I do consider myself a renaissance man. I bring my bold and fresh teaching approach to all subjects and students. I have experience tutoring and/or taking coursework in all subjects listed. I have worked with students as young as middle school and as old as college.

I can proofread essays, perform long division, translate difficult texts, and find the derivative.Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, my plans were to attend Columbia's School of Social Work, where I was hoping to counsel foster youth. Unfortunately, I've had to defer my enrollment to Columbia, but I'm still just as passionate about education and child welfare as ever. My goal as a tutor is to share with my students an excitement for learning, as well as a sense of wonder for the infinite potential of the written word.

I have a deep passion for both criminal justice and physics, and have written and edited a variety of papers in both subjects. In addition to law and physics, I am also fairly skilled with languages, having taken Spanish for six years, and Italian, Ancient Greek, and Latin for a year apiece.In addition to focusing on law, physics, and languages, I have also had a lot of success with helping students with learning disabilities, such as ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia. I myself was diagnosed with ADHD when I was six, and I have developed a variety of techniques designed to aid students who struggle with these learning difficulties.
