About Me

I am a nurse educator with 20 years of experience. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Houston. Currently, I am working on a PhD in Nursing Science at Texas Woman's University where my research focus is on why nurses have stayed at the bedside. I am passionate about education, specifically nursing education. It always brings me joy to see students succeed and begin to think beyond the to-do list. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching anything true crime related.
