About Me
I am a native speaker of the language and have taught all levels of Spanish courses, from beginning level to advanced composition and conversation, both online and in person. In my online classes, I incorporate creativity and global literacy and am very keen on finding the right balance between providing guidance and allowing students freedom to explore and discuss, in order to encourage active participation and engagement in class. I teach the language in conjunction with its socio-historical context, because language was not created in a vacuum and cannot be properly understood otherwise.
Hobbies & Interests
Being outside with the dogs, spending time with family and friends, checking out different restaurants, reading a great crime-suspense book, watching thriller movies
