My name is Amanda and I recently graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Furman University. I tend to favor explaining not only the procedure for how to solve specific problems but also the theory behind the procedure. I find that this makes the procedure itself more memorable and easier to apply to similar problems elsewhere. In other words, the key to any science or math problem is knowing how to think through it.
