I have a BA from Furman University and 8 years of online tutoring experience with students aged 3 to 63. I have worked with all types of people. I am adept at differentiating instruction and am patient, kind, and thoughtful. I understand that every student's struggles are unique, and I strive to meet them exactly where they are and support them in their academic growth. I currently tutor students in reading, writing, and math. Reading and writing are my forte, but I also enjoy tutoring math. I do sneak reading into math problems, because when a person can read and write well, they can excel in their other academic endeavors - even math! While I take learning seriously, I strive to bring fun to each session. I enjoy singing, being playful, and general silliness, which creates a relaxed learning environment.
