I am a graduate of Yale University. I received my Bachelor of Engineering Science in Chemical Engineering. Since graduation, I earned a certification to teach English as a Second Language, and traveled to Beijing, China, where I taught at both primary and high school levels (including several math and Physics high school courses). While I tutor a variety of subjects, I have always had a particular passion for math and Chemistry. In high school, I led the Ohio ARML Math team, and earned a gold medal in the State Science Olympiad tournament for the Chemistry Lab event. I bring the experience I gained competing in and writing for a variety of academic competitions to my students when I teach or tutor them, and I love the excitement of pushing students to reach and expand their potential, as well as the fun that comes from a student seeing a question a new way and understanding it on a different level. In my spare time, I enjoy crossword puzzles, running, bouldering, trivia, and watching a variety of sports (both American and international).

I'm comfortable with a wide range of subjects but I'm most passionate about History, English and Literature.
