After graduating from college with a degree in Finance, I spent several years in the business world. However, my true passions have always been doing Mathematics and working with children. I went back to school to become a teacher, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This is my eleventh year of teaching, and I can't imagine doing anything else. I had the fortune of having wonderful teachers that made learning math both fun and interesting. It is my goal to provide that same experience to all of my students. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy doing arts and crafts, sewing, and needlework. I also love listening to classic rock and spending time with my dogs.

As a native English speaker with a BA in Spanish and a minor in German from Wichita State University, I have cultivated a deep passion for languages that extends beyond mere translation. Education is my life's work, and I impress upon others that it is critical for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all my students.I enjoy hiking, collecting rocks, geocaching, and flying drones to produce aerial photos and videos. I have a PhD in mathematics, with several years of experience in various branches of pure and applied math. I have also taught various university level courses in mathematics ranging from business calculus to linear algebra and differential equations.
