Being a student is a difficult undertaking. I wish this had been available when I was in school. I enjoy working with students and helping them understand their subject matter. I earned my education in Oklahoma and Kansas in Psychology (BA degree), Sociology, Clinical Addictions Counseling, and Social Work (LMSW). I am not currently in school but preparing to begin the process of working for a clinical social work license. I enjoy addictions the most because it is my passion, closely followed by psychology, social work, and sociology. My teaching philosophy is that we are all capable of learning. The tutoring platform allows me to tailor my teaching based on a single individual. Practical applications have been the key to my own learning, and I have experienced them as helpful. My style is somewhat informal as it is easier for people to learn from a place of calm rather than anxious. Outside of academia I enjoy walking in nature, music, movies, art that speaks to me, and generally, anything that feeds my senses and my soul. I look forward to meeting you.
