I have been tutoring since I was in the 6th grade all the way through college (IUPUI class of 2020). I always loved helping others become greater individuals and I love to find new ways to help do that. I'm a Biomedical Engineer Studying Neural Engineering for my PhD work at IUPUI. During my years have I have had a few years experience in math, computer programming, physics, and biology. I really enjoy what I do and I'm hoping to excite people on the amazing opportunities that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields hold for the future. The focus I give on tutoring is building up excitement on what you can actually do with the theory. I'm proud to say I have been able to recently build myself an electronics workbench at home for working on electronic projects. I am a medical student just finishing my third year of medical school. I graduated from IUPUI with my B.S. in Neuroscience, and a minor in Mathematics, in 2016, and was accepted to medical school the same year. I have spent several semesters in my undergraduate career teaching in a variety of subjects. I have tutored computer programming, been a TA for the same class, and been a TA for organic chemistry. I recently graduated with my Master of Arts in History degree with high honors. My area of focus is early modern European history and my thesis focused on the German Reformation. I have been working with newborns to 15 year olds for almost seven years now. My first job was teaching swim lessons at my high school, and lifeguarding. I have babysat and nannied as well. While nannying I was often times required to help the kids finish their homework and I have done unpaid tutoring sessions for classmates in the past.
