I began my tutoring career seven years ago while a Freshman at Georgetown University, where I majored in Spanish and Sociology. I initially tutored English (Grammar & Mechanics) assisted with drafting essays and lengthier papers for a variety of subjects, and helped my students to enhance their study skills.Tutoring soon became something I greatly enjoyed. I loved watching my students progress in their studies as they began to genuinely enjoy the learning process! Later in my career, I added Spanish as a subject that I tutored. I tutored students at the college level in Beginners and Intermediate Spanish.I was so happy to add Spanish to my repertoire of tutoring subjects because it is a personal favorite. Learning Spanish is fun and exciting! It has been an integral part of my life since when I first began learning it at the age of 14. However, I rapidly learned because I immersed myself in Spanish music, television, and culture. I also traveled to the Dominican Republic in the Fall of 2011 for a semester of study abroad.Since graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Georgetown University, I have continued to immerse myself in the Spanish language and use it as much as possible. Besides my interest in tutoring, I am also an avid singer. I have studied voice for about ten years now. I have sang at weddings and like to record professionally in my spare time.

I am a senior at Georgetown University pursuing a bachelors degree in Biology of Global Health with a pre-medical concentration. My experience includes tutoring and coaching lacrosse to kids ages 5 to 16 for the last 5 years. I am enthusiastic, patient, relaxed, and organized. I really enjoy tutoring the following subjects: Biology, Spanish, Math, English/Writing, and U.S. History. I have always had a passion for science, particularly biology, which is one of the reasons that I plan to attend medical school in a few years. Writing is one of my favorite subjects to tutor as my liberal arts education at Georgetown has taught me how to successfully write papers, articles, and essays for biology, chemistry, history, philosophy, and psychology. I am currently working with a professor and another colleague to publish a project that we have developed that uses ethical leadership as a framework for the Olympic games to address health issues within a host country.Outside of tutoring and being a student, I enjoy playing and coaching sports like lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, kickboxing, and snowboarding. I currently play lacrosse for Georgetown and coach locally. My experiences on teams and as a collegiate athlete have taught me communication, leadership, and organizational skills. These experiences have shaped much of my tutoring philosophy. I believe that patience and positive motivation are crucial to helping students achieve their academic or athletic goals. At the same time, as a student and athlete I know that practice and repetition are the keys to fully understanding whatever material is being taught. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to offer a variety of tools and concepts in order for a student to find the best method to reach their academic goals and to build confidence.

I'm currently an undergraduate at Georgetown University majoring in Neurobiology on the pre-med track. Originally from the Research Triangle in North Carolina (Tar Heel state!), I graduated high school from Cary Academy. My area of expertise includes middle school subjects, high school/college Biology, high school/college Chemistry, and SAT test prep. I look forward to helping students build confidence and deepen their understanding in these challenging subjects. I believe in humor, practice, and positive reinforcement to help students grow inside and outside the classroom. I am also a lab research assistant studying Multiple Sclerosis (MS). As a college student, I'd be happy to give insights to the college application system and college experience. In my free time, you can find me on long walks/runs, cafe hopping, thrifting, playing any racket sports, and exploring places with my camera!

When I was young, I struggled with school. I was more focused on my performance on the sports field than I was on my performance in the classroom. My love of learning came only after I spent several summers being tutored by fantastic teachers who helped me develop connections to the material in a way that was both relatable and fun. I learned the value of great educators those summers, and I came to appreciate the importance of strong communication between the student and educator.I received my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania and went on to receive a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies, with a concentration in inter-American Affairs, from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Before moving to South Florida, I spent seven years in Washington, D.C. working in international affairs, as well as in government advocacy and public policy. I look forward to helping you with Spanish Language and Literature, History and Government, or Writing and English Language. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy playing sports, staying active, and finding fun, new recipes to cook.My goal as a tutor is not only to help you understand the material, but also to help you develop your own unique learning tools to benefit your long-term educational growth.

I specialize in high-level GMAT diagnostic and execution coaching for stalled high-achievers. I don't just teach content; I identify the execution, timing, and decision-making patterns preventing score improvement and build customized strategies to break through plateaus under time pressure. After years of coaching GMAT students across a wide range of score levels, I've found that many advanced students underperform not because they lack ability, but because they approach questions inefficientlytreating each problem like a new puzzle instead of recognizing recurring execution patterns quickly and systematically. I earned my MBA from Georgetown University and worked as a former Sony engineer, bringing a data-driven and strategic mindset to every session. With 100+ five-star reviews, I've guided GMAT students to break barriersnot just raising scores, but shifting their confidence and thinking. As a result, many of my students have earned admission to elite MBA programs, including UCL
