I began my tutoring career seven years ago while a Freshman at Georgetown University, where I majored in Spanish and Sociology. I initially tutored English (Grammar & Mechanics) assisted with drafting essays and lengthier papers for a variety of subjects, and helped my students to enhance their study skills.Tutoring soon became something I greatly enjoyed. I loved watching my students progress in their studies as they began to genuinely enjoy the learning process! Later in my career, I added Spanish as a subject that I tutored. I tutored students at the college level in Beginners and Intermediate Spanish.I was so happy to add Spanish to my repertoire of tutoring subjects because it is a personal favorite. Learning Spanish is fun and exciting! It has been an integral part of my life since when I first began learning it at the age of 14. However, I rapidly learned because I immersed myself in Spanish music, television, and culture. I also traveled to the Dominican Republic in the Fall of 2011 for a semester of study abroad.Since graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Georgetown University, I have continued to immerse myself in the Spanish language and use it as much as possible. Besides my interest in tutoring, I am also an avid singer. I have studied voice for about ten years now. I have sang at weddings and like to record professionally in my spare time.

I am a senior at Georgetown University pursuing a bachelors degree in Biology of Global Health with a pre-medical concentration. My experience includes tutoring and coaching lacrosse to kids ages 5 to 16 for the last 5 years. I am enthusiastic, patient, relaxed, and organized. I really enjoy tutoring the following subjects: Biology, Spanish, Math, English/Writing, and U.S. History. I have always had a passion for science, particularly biology, which is one of the reasons that I plan to attend medical school in a few years. I'm currently an undergraduate at Georgetown University majoring in Neurobiology on the pre-med track. When I was young, I struggled with school. I was more focused on my performance on the sports field than I was on my performance in the classroom. I am a Russian area studies think tank professional, working in D.C. area and looking to help others get interested in the field by offering language tutoring in Russian and Polish. I graduated from Georgetown University twice, earning my BA in Russian and Government in 2017 and my MA in Russian Area studies in 2021. I am excited to get the chance to work with students as they explore the nuances of Russian language and have particular strength in Russian grammar. I completed my undergraduate education in three years at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. I then attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where I was part of the Partners in Los Angeles Education (PLACE) Corps. There I earned my Master of Arts in Secondary Education and my California Single Subject Clear Credential with an authorization in social science. I am currently in the process of adding an English authorization to my credential. I will return to Loyola Marymount to work on a second Master's degree in the Fall.I have been in the classroom for almost four years teaching social studies, religion, and English to grades 5 - 12.
