About Me

Hi! My name is Ari. I was born, raised, and currently live in Brookline, MA, but I am a student at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. I take pride in being a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to academia. I have experience tutoring across the gamut of academic subjects, including in English as a Foreign Language and in Mandarin Chinese. With each of my past tutees I have worked to not only enhance their understanding of the curriculum, but also to help them find the motivation, study skills, discipline and joy that are necessary to truly excel in the classroom. I would be thrilled to bring that attitude to work with your student; I believe that good teaching means "working with" rather than "talking at," and that students thrive when they get a personal touch from a devoted tutee who can bring learning to life for them.
