After volunteering on a medical team in Ghana in the summer of 2013, I now aspire to become a pediatrician for under-served populations. I graduated from Emory University with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and Visual Arts, but I rather than apply to medical school straight away, I opted to take a few gap years. Currently, I am a graduate student at Columbia University in the process of completing a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, and when I return to Rhode Island this fall, I plan to work in labs conducting clinical research projects. I am excited to tutor students in biology, critique essays for grammar and organization, and provide constructive feedback for any visual art or creative writing pieces.
