I have been tutoring math for two years and physics for one. I love tutoring -- it is a fulfilling process in which I can help somebody whose shoes I have been in before. I needed a math tutor from 7th grade through sophomore year of high school. Even beyond those years, I know what it's like to fail over and over with both math and physics. Conquering those failures not only feels amazing, but teaches an important life lesson. Helping a student conquer a subject is a great feeling, and I've found it as a calling for me.I am not only passionate about teaching math, I am passionate about math itself. I hope that my genuine enjoyment of math can act as a motivator for my students, combatting the view that many students have of math as "pointless".Outside of tutoring, I like to play music and be outdoors. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. Once I was a teacher, I realized that not only were there so many children with different educational needs, they all learned so differently! From that point on, I was determined to help each child find their love for learning and succeed That is my main teaching goal in life: That each child discovers their love for learning-whatever it may be!

I am passionate about this service because I was always a strong student but I struggled when I switched majors and I wish to give back the same time and help that was given to me. I was previously a calculus Learning assistant and Algebra tutor for about a year while going to school. I have an Associate degree in accounting and Finance and currently I am a senior pursuing a BS in Computer Science (concentration in Artificial Intelligence). I am a very methodical and process oriented goal driven person and that has lead to my fondness of math and hard sciences. I impart learning through involvement, experiences and real life relations. If we can do it together and you regurgitate to me the process, you will learn. Outside of school I travel a lot, play soccer and generally hang out with my family, I have a wife and daughter so that quality time is important.
