I am Highly Qualified in Math, per the State of Michigan. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Mild/Moderately handicapped (Learning Disabled), a Master's degree in Educational leadership and my Educational specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Math). I have tutored in a one on one setting with students with special needs as well as general education students. I love my job and have a way of making students feel comfortable enough to want to do well in school.

I am a postdoctoral scholar completing research training in a Cell Biology research lab. I have taught at every educational level from K-12 through undergraduate. Most of my teaching experience has been Biology based courses for undergraduates (Major and Non-Major). I have also been a tutor for college athletes. I enjoy the experience of working with students with diverse academic abilities.

I am a Louisiana licensed attorney with a JD from Southern University Law Center, and am currently studying for the Illinois Bar Exam. I am happily married with four sons, two of whom have special needs (Autism and Downs).

I am currently a doctoral student at The University of Western States studying Sport and Performance Psychology. I recently graduated from Jackson State University with my Master's in Sport Science and earned my Bachelor's in Sport Psychology from Faulkner University. During my undergraduate education, I was also a student-athlete, a soccer player and team captain.
