About Me

I have over 20 years teaching experience in Special Education all subjects with a major focus on Math. I taught 7 years in middle school (Math and English) and the last 13 years in high school setting teaching Math (Algebra, Geometry, Alg./Trig). I am Highly Qualified in Math, per the State of Michigan. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Mild/Moderately handicapped (Learning Disabled), a Master's degree in Educational leadership and my Educational specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Math). I have tutored in a one on one setting with students with special needs as well as general education students. I love my job and have a way of making students feel comfortable enough to want to do well in school.
