As a dedicated educator with an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master's in Secondary Math Education from The University of Alabama, I have over 13 years of tutoring and classroom experience, specializing in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, College intro math courses, Computer Science and more. My passion for teaching stems from my belief in the power of personalized learning; I strive to create supportive, one-on-one environments where students can express their understanding and set specific goals for improvement. I enjoy guiding students through complex concepts, particularly in computer science, where I help them transition from block coding to text-based languages. Outside of tutoring, I am an avid advocate for STEM education and enjoy exploring the latest advancements in technology. My commitment to fostering a growth mindset in my students drives me to inspire their curiosity and confidence in math and computer science.
