I have been in Education since 2000 in a variety of private and public settings from Pre-K thru 6th Grade. I have a Master's in Childhood Education (Pre-School -6th Grade). I believe every child can learn. We just don't all learn in the same way or at the same pace.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and bring over 25 years of experience working with children. As a mother of three daughters and a passionate substitute teacher for Kindergarten through high school, I have dedicated my life to supporting and educating children of all ages. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of social-emotional learning, especially in early childhood. I strive to create a classroom environment where every student feels confident, understood, and capable. My goal is to nurture not only academic growth but also emotional well-being.
I am a graduate of both Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) and Alabama State University (ASU). I hold the following Degrees: Bachelor's- Early Childhood/ Elem. Ed. (AUM, 2009) Master's- Elementary Education (AUM, 2014) Master's- Instructional Leadership (AUM, 2016) Doctorate- Educational Leadership, Policy and Law (ASU, 2019) I have been an educator for the past 14 years and worked in various capacities to include: -Title I Math Tutor -Classroom Teacher (departmentalized and self-contained -Interventionist (K-5) -Assistant Principal (Elementary) I enjoy teaching all subjects but reading is my favorite. I enjoy reading different texts, using my imagination, and incorporating innovation. I can't express enough how I enjoy working with students on a daily basis. It is my passion to make a difference in others; therefore, I am elated to be on this journey of helping students excel in their academics.

I received my undergraduate degree from Alabama State University and my Master's Degree in Liberal Arts with a Concentration in English from Auburn University in Montgomery. I have been married for 6 years and together we have one son and one Pitbull. We enjoy spending time together and traveling when we can.
I am a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery and received a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I have developed tools through my program for sharing that passion with my students. I have taught in classrooms from 6th-12th grade through multiple math subjects and have a great knowledge of all the math topics through all these age groups. I also have a strong knowledge of math courses at the college level after completing my program with a concentration in mathematics. I believe that all students have the ability to achieve a higher level in their math abilities and think that I can help these students reach that level through personal tutoring sessions.
