I am originally from Indianapolis, IN and moved to the NYC area for my husband's work. I have tutored multiple subjects and age groups throughout my academic career. I have taught English as a second language in both the United States and Mexico to grade school, high school, and college age students as well as adults. I tutored math, study skills, and sociology in college. I love science, and I have a knack for making difficult topics easy to understand. Chemistry is my favorite subject, and I have taught college courses and mentored students in the laboratory. I am passionate about teaching and loved every teaching opportunity that I have had! I am very friendly and have an easy going personality. I strive to make learning as fun and as stress-free for my students as possible! The success of my students is my top priority. In addition to teaching and tutoring, my other interests include painting, cooking, teaching yoga, and reading.
