I am a junior at the University of Florida on the pre-med track. I am majoring in Health Sciences with a minor in Public Health and a Dance in Medicine Certificate. Besides college classes, I am involved on campus as a tutor for Gators for Refugee Medical Relief, a UMatter We Care Ambassador, and a member of the GatoRaas Dance Team. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about mathematics, biology, psychology, and social sciences. I am a firm proponent of education and I believe that education is the biggest gift and tool that can be used to better the world and quality of life, and I try to instill this appreciation in all of my children.

My life revolves around excitement and a lack of complacency. I always want to be somewhere or do something that I have not yet achieved. I believe it is this drive that allows me to pursue my passions, both academically and socially, and to be successful in both. I find that my greatest happiness comes in the form of little victories such as a good grade on an exam, or making a friend laugh! Its because of this that I really slow down and try to appreciate every passing moment because I believe every moment has the potential to be life changing.

I am a freshman aerospace engineering major at the University of Michigan! I have tutored countless students for over 2 years and enjoy it a lot. I love to tutor math and can help students with anything ranging from basic algebra to calculus 3.

I thoroughly enjoy meeting students where they are and helping them reach their full potential! I have homeschooled my own children for eighteen years and tutored many others. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chowan University, but my love for learning has kept me in this field.

At work, I also work as a 12th-grade advisor helping students navigate the emotional and mental changes that come with life transitions in and out of high school. I work every day to help my students increase their self-awareness, take on more responsibility, and learn how to self-regulate.I tutor English, ESL, and social-emotional learning.In college, I studied English and I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Spain. I went on to attain my Masters in Special Education, 7-12 from CUNY Hunter College.Reading, writing, financial literacy, and literacy are all things that I focus on.
