Hello! I am an experienced higher education administrator. I have spent my career in positions related to legal education, and I love working with students. I have always loved math, and I would like to help students who are being challenged by math concepts. I'm a firm believer that math can be fun, or at least that the concepts can be conquered. The same can be said for learning beginning Spanish and English grammar, which I am also happy to tutor. I am a published author, and can also help with students who are experiencing challenges with writing. In my free time, I enjoy running and bicycling.

I will be graduating from NYU in December of 2020 with a degree in Applied Physics and am currently looking to establish myself as a tutor in the NYC area. I have been tutoring for roughly a year and a half for a few families and have experience teach at multiple different levels. I find a lot of satisfaction in tutoring. One of the best feelings is helping a student and seeing that moment when everything finally starts to click. In my free time, I like to watch TV and explore the city with my friends.

My collegiate and work experiences have allowed me many opportunities to work with other students to create and support our own creative platform. Through networking with mentors and advisors I have been able to direct, produce, and edit my own visual and audio works digitally. I've had several articles and radio pieces published in the university's newspaper. These experiences have assisted me in honing my communication and leadership skills. My greatest joy, however, has been mentoring peers and fellow student-athletes along my journey. Education has allowed me to give back by teaching others what I've learned.

I am an undergraduate student at St. John’s University working on a major in psychology with minors in English and philosophy. I am also currently in the process of applying to Ph.D. programs in quantitative psychology. I have had three years of experience tutoring writing at the St. John’s writing center, and I have tutored several students in other subjects such as psychology and the verbal portion of the GRE. Of all the tutoring I have done though, my favorite subject is writing. Many people struggle with writing, or think that they are not very good at it, but I think everyone has something worthwhile to write and helping people to bring that out is quite rewarding. I see learning as a two way street, and as a tutor I view every session as a chance to both share my knowledge of a subject with my student while at the same time allowing theirs to enrich my own. In my free time I enjoy reading fantasy novels, hiking, and playing video games.
