I am a Master of Architecture candidate at Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Colgate University. While I tutor several subjects, I am very passionate about mathematics and physics because of the tangible progress which I am able to help students achieve, and I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities. I have been a mathematics and physics tutor for the last eight years and have worked with students enrolled in middle school, high school, and university courses. As a tutor I work to build my students confidence and independence. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing and playing volleyball and tennis.

I'm Angie! I am a senior at Arizona State University in the Barrett Honors College studying Psychology and Studio Art. I was an honors/AP student throughout high school and have exceeded on AIMS and the SAT. I enjoy working with my students to make sure we are going over material in a way that they can most efficiently learn the material while still enjoying the learning process.

I'm Meredith. I am a student at Sewanee: The University of the South, where I am pursuing degrees in English and International Studies. I also am pursuing a certificate in Creative Writing. I love to read, write, and engage in anything that allows me to be creative. I have a passion for education as a student and as a teacher. I cannot wait to meet new students and provide help in any way I can!

I am guiding them more, and the more we work together, the more they are doing the thinking while I just lay the path. Ultimately, they are able to walk the path alone. If student reaches a place where they feel they no longer need me, then I have done my job.

I'm currently a substitute teacher working towards my Master's in Teaching (Science, Secondary), my primary interest is in writing new, comprehensive and engaging material which makes sense to students. I love students of all ages, I enjoy watching the "lightbulbs" go one when they understand a difficult concept, or when they are elated because they remember a fact they couldn't before. I am young and I am still learning, and I can't wait to become an even better tutor!
