Certified Tutor

Prior to becoming a nurse, I was a Registered Veterinary Technician. I loved working with animals. During my time as a vet tech, I oversaw many vet tech students and interns and loved to teach. I realized I wanted to pursue a higher level of education, and I graduated with a BSN from Maryville University in 2017. I also just finished my MSN/FNP program. I remember struggling with some subjects in undergrad and using tutors, which ended up being super helpful. I understand how stressful school can be. I prefer a study environment that can be fun while still holding students accountable. As a nurse, it is important to think critically, so this is some of what we focus on. I like to incorporate case studies and lots of practice questions. I can help students with nursing courses as well as studying and preparing for NCLEX.
