After finishing at Harvard, I moved back to the Valley of the Sun to be with my family and started work on a M.S. in Psychology with a focus on Psychology and Law. My current academic interest is how non-native English speakers interact with the justice system here in AZ. I completed my premedical requirements at the Bryn Mawr College post-baccalaureate premedical program. I am currently getting my Masters in Public Health at Thomas Jefferson University and will begin medical school at Jefferson in 2013. When I was in 8th grade, I was struggling with pre-algebra (I couldn't seem to wrap my head around distance/rate/time problems). I found myself loathing a class I had once loved. I started working with a tutor and going from barely getting by to being successful in that class was a very fulfilling feeling that I hope to continue to pass on to others.

I am a Math Major/CompSci Minor in the Honors College at the University of Arizona. I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and I've spent the past 5 years tutoring local students in Math. I received a perfect score of 800 on the SAT Math portion. I took every AP math course available to me in high school: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics; receiving scores of 5, 5 (with a 5 on the AB subsection), and 3 respectively.
