Today, we reviewed the student's math homework on means/medians and box and whisker plots. We especially focused on the box and whisker plots, doing some extra problems and watching a video to better understand the concept. We also reviewed and corrected his last math exam on surface area and volumes. With the extra time, we reviewed his history homework, including readings and a worksheet on the Emperor of Qin.

Today was our first session. We worked on several math concepts. The student is not familiar with many of these concepts, so we decided to start here first. We went over tables, sets, probability, solving and simplifying equations and how to find a point on a graph. She was able to work well on these topic after I explained the steps and idea behind each concept.

I will send her pictures of written out solutions so she can review those before her test tomorrow!
