I am a recently certified Physician Assistant. I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University's Physician Assistant program, where I received my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During my undergraduate years I was a summer school teacher and private tutor to students ranging from grades kindergarten to undergraduate students. During my 2nd year of PA school I tutored the 1st year PA students in anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, physical diagnosis, pathophysiology, and emergency medicine. I took the PANCE 2 weeks after graduation and passed on the first attempt. Having taken the PANCE recently, I know what the updated PANCE is like and how students should prepare and study to pass the PANCE. I have the most recent resources and tools to teach and help students feel prepared for the day of their big exam.

I am currently employed as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in Philadelphia. I obtained my master's degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019, and my bachelor's degree from University of Delaware in 2018. I am extremely passionate, and have a longstanding love of pediatric OT, as I have been volunteering since I was 12 years old. Currently, my Master's capstone project on pediatric chronic pain interventions is being displayed in poster format at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association's annual conference, and I will be presenting in November at the Post Conference Institute on Children & Youth, as well as the Post Conference Institute on Fieldwork/Capstone Education.I love learning and I love sharing knowledge with others!

After finishing undergrad, I did research in the Departments of Development Neuroscience & Pediatrics at the Columbia University Medical Center. I completed my premedical requirements at the Bryn Mawr College post-baccalaureate premedical program. I am currently getting my Masters in Public Health at Thomas Jefferson University and will begin medical school at Jefferson in 2013. I am a PhD candidate at Thomas Jefferson University studying prostate cancer cell and molecular biology. I have always been fascinated by the way our world works. During my undergraduate career I experienced the joy of passing that knowledge to others through teaching assistantships in functional anatomy and leading workshops in general chemistry. I am a licensed occupational therapist and educator. I have over 10 years experience working with young adults- from teaching English to coaching students through the college admissions process. I went to Elizabetown College, where I studied English Secondary Education (6th-12th grades), Penn State for my master's in Higher Education Administration and College Student Development, and Thomas Jefferson University for my doctorate in occupational therapy. I currently teach ergonomics and social participation intervention courses at Jefferson, and I have extensive experience in English grammar and writing. I'm currently a research fellow in orthopedic surgery at Rothman Orthopedics, completing a gap year before matriculating to Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 2027. I earned my undergraduate degree at Penn State as part of the Penn StateSKMC 7-Year BS/MD Program, minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I scored a 1560 on the SAT and am also a certified EMT both experiences that sharpened how I break down complex material and stay calm and structured under pressure, which shapes how I tutor today. My passion for tutoring started with my own college application process, where I found essay writing and self-presentation genuinely exciting. That led me to start helping other students do the same. I founded my own college consulting practice, guiding students through brainstorming, drafting, and revising personal statements and supplemental essays to help them find an authentic voice rather than a generic one. I am very passionate about working with students, particularly because I have firsthand experience with how beneficial tutoring can be and want to give back. My favorite subject in school was always Biology, and my passion for this subject ultimately led me to medical school. I have also attained a Masters of Public Health from NYU, and did my undergraduate degree in Biology at Millersville University where I was a full-time field hockey student-athlete. Furthermore, I am a published author in multiple academic journals and am currently engaged in ethics-based research. Originally from Australia, I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at my high school in Canberra, so I am well-versed in inquiry-driven learning. I've been both learning and teaching my whole life! My studies are interdisciplinary, and I have a love for both the creative and the analytical, so I'm available to tutor a wide variety of subjects. I'm currently wrapping up my Bachelor of Architecture and starting my Masters in Urban Design. I'm originally from eastern Europe, but grew up and went to school in New York. I have been tutoring students of all ages for the past 10 years. In that time, I have learned that all students have a passion for learning. However, they may not necessarily know that, or be able to express it in the 'normal' method of education.My goal has always been to encourage this passion. To that end, I work with my student to find the teaching method that works best for them, whether it is lecturing, working by example, or simply drawing out the concepts.
