I am sincere and dedicated in my efforts to help with academics. When not working full time in mental health and tutoring I enjoy listening to music, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and participating in outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, or walking with my dogs.

I am exited about helping students gain confidence and be successful. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing educational games with my children and learning new things about different technologies.

I am passionate about the language arts, and I might have been the only 8th grade student ever to be excited about diagramming sentences! I am a graduate of Penn State University and then attended Clarion University were I earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a Kindergarten through 6th grade certified teacher. Through my experience with tutoring, I have tutored students of all grades and have covered all academic areas. I believe that all students want to learn and can learn. It's my job as a teacher to meet them and move them forward in their educational journey.
