I'm a fanatic for historiography, mythology and editing. I edit for a small local press and beta read for another. When I'm not doing that, I can be found yelling at 'historical' blockbusters for any number of easily preventable errors, standing on my head, or working on my own ecological fantasy novel.

I am a recent graduate from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. I graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Spanish. During my four years at Juniata, I held a number of leadership roles such as Vice President of Spanish Club and was a Bonner leader during my sophomore year. I am an experienced teacher with two Bachelor's degrees, a Master's degree, and completed Ph.D coursework. I have approximately seven years of teaching experience, and I hold an English certification. I have a passion for all the material I teach, and that allows me to meet my students' learning needs. Even more importantly, I am creative. Sometimes teaching is all about packaging the ideas differently.

I am an experienced teacher/tutor that has been working since 1988. I have taught high school mathematics (grades 9-12) and I have also taught college courses at several locations. I have even taught online courses. I have tutored for learning centers and privately. I enjoy the variety of each new day of teaching. I learn from my students as they learn from me.

I am incredibly passionate about the German language and culture, and from my perspective bettering one's writing is also a process in bettering one's thinking.
