Graduated Biology/Genetics at Penn State, one of the most demanding programs at one of the top research universities in the country. I scored well above the 50th percentile on the MCAT science sections and have since completed an MBA with a 3.91 GPA, focusing on Design Thinking and Innovation. Professionally I've worked as a biochemist team lead at a pharmaceutical contract research lab, validating analytical methods for FDA-regulated cancer therapies, and as an R&D scientist across food science and consumer products. I also completed osteopathic medical school didactics in gross anatomy and biochemistry. I own a science-based health and wellness company and understand how to translate complex material into real-world application. I know what it takes to go from struggling student to high performer because I lived it. I'm patient, direct, and genuinely invested in your results. Whether you need help with biology, genetics, chemistry, biochem, MCAT prep, or MBA coursework, I can help.

I am a senior candidate in Genetics at Penn State University. Although I have tutored different subjects in college to my peers since August 2020, I enjoy tutoring French and Life Science the most. Through tutoring, I had the opportunity to give back the support received from my community. I am passionate about self-efficacy, learning, and growth. Once I diagnose the student's current understanding, I can help the student enhance their own understanding by sharing tools and skills. Outside of Academia, I am Passionate about Health and particularly medicine. In my free time, I listen to Podcasts/ TED talks or walk in nature. I would love to be part of your learning journey so I can make it easier and help you strengthen it.
I am a graduate of Penn State University and Millersville University with my teaching degree and Masters in Mathematics. I have also received my degree from Temple University in Educational Leadership. My passion for teaching extends from teaching math in the middle school to the university level for adult learners. Student's success in mathematics is critical to so many careers and opportunities. I firmly believe that all students can achieve in mathematics and there is learning style that will reach every student. Algebra is my favorite math course as I believe that it is the cornerstone for future math success. Students communicating during tutoring sessions is the most valuable use of time. Math talk and understanding how a student is learning is critical during tutoring sessions. When I am not spending time working with students, I enjoy activities with my husband and sons. We spend time at the beach, boating or heading to Disney! I love learning and I am currently working on an endorsement in math coaching. I hope that we have the chance to work together and I look forward to helping you learn to love math!
