A graduate of Bucknell University, I have studied both English and Business Management as an undergraduate and worked on Wall Street before discovering a love of teaching.I call upon both my humanities and math sides in tutoring for all sections of the SAT and ACT. My SAT and ACT students have been admitted to colleges including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Hamilton.I also have abundant experience working with younger students for private school entrance exams and my ISEE, HSPT and SSAT students have been accepted into the independent schools of their choice. I am highly effective at making the process of learning as enjoyable and fun as possible.As the oldest of four boys, I relate easily to students, and my tutoring sessions can feel like studying with a friend, albeit a friend who is helping them improve their scores. By making the material relatable and communicating it in simple terms, I get many students to understand seemingly difficult-to-grasp subject matter.I take great joy in seeing the moment a concept clicks in a student's head and seeing that student subsequently master a topic that never seemed possible to conquer.

I am a graduate student at the Harvard School of Public Health living, working, and studying in Boston, MA. I have a passion for people and for learning. Specifically, I have studied Spanish for ten years, and graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Spanish in 2014. I have served as a teaching assistant for a class of ESL kindergarteners and have lived abroad in Costa Rica and Mexico. I received my PhD and Masters in Accounting from Binghamton University. I am have been teaching accounting at the college level for over 20 years. I am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). I love the moment when the "light bulb" lights up in a student's head and they understand a concept they had trouble with. In addition to accounting, I can tutor in statistics, geometry, and most areas of business.

My name is Jared Feindt, and I'm a Mechanical Engineering PhD Candidate at Lehigh University. I enjoy lifting, basketball, soccer, investing, technology, and soon hope to travel. I graduated from Bucknell University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering in May, along with a Math Minor.I excel at teaching strategies for tackling standardized tests, including the GRE, ACT, SAT, and PSAT. I received nearly perfect scores on the math sections of all of these tests. In addition, I can also help with the AP level classes in Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, and Statistics, all of which I have since taken more advanced college classes for. After graduating with my masters in Educational Leadership, I began working at a charter school in Newark, NJ. I spent three years teaching second grade at that school until moving into my current position as a curriculum designer for an educational organization. In my role as a curriculum designer, I work hard to prepare daily lessons for teachers around the country that lead students to mastery in literacy instruction.My passion in education is to provide students with opportunities so that they can develop future opportunities. Any student has countless possibilities in front of them as long as their education is solid and their mind and heart share the same goals. I am happy to help your kiddo on the path to being the difference he or she wants to make in the world!

I have found that I truly enjoy working one on one with students. Working one on one allows me to get to know the student and allows me to uncover any gaps in their prior knowledge that may be confusing them, or prohibiting them to be successful in their course. I also enjoy working one on one with a student because it gives me more of an opportunity to discover the student's learning style. I could then better instruct the student at their level and using their learning style of the best outcomes.

I tutor chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and Spanish. I recently graduated from Bucknell University with my degrees in both biology and Spanish. I was hired by the university to tutor organic chemistry, which I did for two years. I also worked as a teacher's assistant (TA) for a general chemistry class.
