I LOVE helping with: Executive function Skills Lang. Arts (reading, writing) Study skills/organization/mindset for success Essay/Scholarship writing Test-taking/Study Strategies Psychology Basic Spanish Medical Terminology College App. Essays I'm rewarded by helping students build confidence to succeed - especially when learning feels challenging. I regularly work with students from elem.-thru college, and I've supported learners from all backgrounds. I've taught ESL/ELL students, guided high schoolers through college/scholarship application essays, and helped students strengthen reading, writing, and overall English skills. I believe writing doesn't have to be stressful or overwhelming and I make it fun. My approach is supportive, encouraging, and focused on making the process clear, engaging, and manageable. My goal isn't just improved grades, but increased confidence and independence as learners. I look forward to partnering to help you see long-term progress!

Work hard in silence, let success make the noise.A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.Luck favors the prepared. As an educator the most dangerous phrase you can ever say is, "We have always done it that way."
Communication is vital in our world and learning a new language opens doors to endless new people, culture, travels, adventures, experiences and opportunities! I would love to help you take the next steps in your journey toward those goals.I minored in Spanish at university which gave me the life-changing experience to study abroad in Mallorca, Spain for 5 months. A few years after that, I was presented with the opportunity to live in South Korea and teach English as a Second Language (ESL) for 5 years to students ranging from 3 year olds to adult business-people and everything in between. I prefer to focus on practical, conversational abilities for my students (rather than nit-picky grammar and memorization), but will be thrilled to help you achieve your goals no matter what they may be.My hobbies include Ultimate (Frisbee), Running, Rock Climbing, hiking and anything else outdoors. Hope to work with you soon!
I love my job teaching students ages 3 to 10 years old. I am passionate about teaching children to read. I believe all children can learn, as an educator I believe I must find the way to teach them.
I am a EMS Professor teaching both EMT and paramedic courses for an accredited program. I have been active in the EMS and Fire field for 12 years working as a fire officer and paramedic on a career department. I have a B.S. in Career and Technical Education (University of Wisconsin-Stout) and will be completing my M.S. in Career and Technical Education (UW-S) in December 2021. I am also working on a B.A. in Philosophy from University of New Orleans. I have several certifications and licensures in EMS (paramedicine) as well as fire science (IFSAC/Pro-Board).
