I am an educator with over 17 years of teaching and leadership experience, dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I have taught learners from elementary through college and tailor instruction to individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, think critically, and grow as independent learners. I hold a B.S. in Secondary Education Social Studies from the University of Pikeville, an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Converse University, and an M.A. in History from Arizona State University. I am currently completing my Ph.D. in History. I specialize in U.S. History, World History, Government, Civics, Geography, and Economics, along with study skills, writing, and test preparation. Hello! My name is Marcia (Marsha) Hunt. I am a retired teacher with 39 years in the teaching field. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and music and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. My home state is Kentucky (think Hatfield and McCoy territory). I love my pets, I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I was out of tutoring for a year because of health problems. I want to assure you that I am aware that life happens, and I will do my best to be flexible with my schedule if either of us needs to cancel/reschedule. Thank you!

Hi! I'm Olivia Justice, and I'm passionate about helping students grow in confidence and skill especially when it comes to reading, writing, and critical thinking. I recently earned my bachelor's degree in English Education, and I've spent the last few years teaching and tutoring students in everything from phonics to writing to ACT prep. I also offer support for standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, and PRAXIS (which I've passed myself and have successfully helped others prepare for). My goal is to create a space where you feel empowered to ask questions, take risks, and grow as a learner.

I am a High School math teacher. Currently I am teaching AP Calculus, Probability and Statistics, College Algebra, and Algebra II. I started tutoring while I was getting my Bachelors degree. I worked for the college tutoring students who needed help with their math classes. Since then I have been tutoring independently and love doing it. I finished my Masters in Math Teaching in 2015. I began my professional career as Certified Dance instructor in Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theater Arts. I owned and operated a dance studio in Pikeville and Prestonsburg, Kentucky. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pikeville College maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I attained my Master of Arts from the University of Louisville in Health Education and Movement Studies, I maintained a 3.45 GPA while working part-time.I have a passion for education, teaching and learning. Learning is fun and I believe everyone enjoys learning. I discern the students' learning style, whether auditory, visual or kinesthetic and prepare lessons that make learning fun and easier for the students to reach their full potential. I am always open to questions and encourage curiosity.My specialities to tutor are Reading, Writing, Grammar, Composition, Language Arts, Biology and Anatomy. I also tutor Elementary and Middle School Math through Algebra 1.
