I am now confident that the high school and college-age range is where my main interest in teaching. I currently teach General Biology, Environmental Science, Human Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology. I also teach environmental science at a day camp for K-12 grade students and I have gained confidence in that category as well!

I'm here to help you! My job as a tutor is to help provide the knowledge and skills to become an independent learner and get students thinking about what they need to do to be successful. I love to have a relationship with my students that makes them feel comfortable so that they can ask the questions they need ot ask in order to become a better student. Lots of students have anxiety, and I specialize in alleviating anxiety in order to help students to be at their best for the big test!

I am conducting research. I am the co-author of a study on sonography for periodontal tissue imaging and another on maxillary sinus elevation. I am also conducting a review on the stability of occlusion in class-3 malocclusion. This post-doctoral program has been a great opportunity for me to explore dentistry in more depth and has enhanced my inquiry skills as they relate to my future goals.
