I am currently an assistant principal at Marion Visual and Performing Arts. Education has always been my passion as a student, teacher, literacy instructional facilitator and now as an administrator. I attended undergraduate at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. After graduation, I relocated to begin my teaching career and attended night school where I received my Cosmetologist License at Tennessee Tech. I taught 4th grade ELA for 5 years before becoming the literacy coach. As the instructional facilitator for 15 years, I worked with students and teachers to strengthen and enhance their reading and writing skills. Through modeling, guided practice, data analysis, and PLC, our school showed magnificent growth and gained proficiency in math and literacy. After receiving my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and also Curriculum and Instruction, I relocated to another an elementary school in the district where I continued as a literacy coach and gain another task as a dylexia screener and tutor until accepting another position in another district for my current position. Our current enrollment is approximately 800 K-6 students, and we are continuously working to improve student academic performance.

I am a current graduate student of Southern New Hampshire University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. For the past 18 years, I have taught middle and high school English, grades 7-12. While I have taught a wide range of humanity subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Journalism. It has been my pleasure to support students with reading literature, composition writing, and poetry. It is my honest belief that education allows one to change his or her life circumstances. It provides the opportunity to grow academically as well as socially. It also prepares the learner for real-world experiences through reading and hands-on projects. I endeavor to support my students' decisions to excel in their academic ventures and I hope to create enjoyable learning opportunities to bridge their intellectual gaps.
Dr. Leonard Wright, D.C. is a dedicated healthcare leader committed to enhancing understanding as it relates to healthcare topics through creative and collaborative approaches. With a Master's in Neuroscience, Dr. Wright grew a passion for learning neuro-musculoskeletal subjects after his own experiences with debilitating back pain and persistent concussion symptoms. He has accomplished much during his time in practice such as earning the Chiropractor of the Year Award in 2022, performing 10+ public speaking engagements at healthcare conferences, plus years of teaching at higher education institutions over the past 5 years. Dr. Wright aims to inspire audiences with accessible healthcare educational insights, bringing expertise and compassion for student to comprehend topics and enjoy what they are learning.
