I am a graduate of The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education PK -4th, and my Master's Degree in Education Curriculum. I've been an educator for 18 years now. I've taught kindergarten, 3rd-4th grade, and 11th/12th grade English, in Arkansas, Florida, and Georgia. I currently teach 3rd-grade reading. My biggest joy is seeing the excitement in a student when they realize they can do something they felt they couldn't.

I have earned a B.A. in Math from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have also taken graduate-level education courses, including classes covering curriculum design. In 2019, I passed the PRAXIS 5161 exam which covers math content for grades 7-12, and in 2026 I passed Society of Actuaries Probability (P) Exam. I'm committed to helping students learn while maintaining academic integrity. I do not give answers to homework, quizzes, or tests, and I cannot work on specific problems from assignments. I focus on presenting topics clearly using my own examples (often from Khan Academy) and then provide opportunities for students to practice on their own, gradually releasing responsibility (I do, We do, You Do). My goal is to help students understand the material, so that they feel confident completing assignments independently. It continues to bring me joy when students grasp new concepts, grow their confidence, and have fun learning. I look forward to meeting with you!

I worked at the Little Rock School District for 11 years. I currently work for the Carrollton Farmers Branch District as a Co-teacher since 2016. I have 13 years experience teaching, mentoring and tutoring General and Special Education students. I have a BS in Speech Pathology with a minor in American Sign Language. I have serviced students with mild to severe cases of Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Asperger's and Autism. I have facilitated language using American Sign Language (ASL) and Augmentative Communication Devices for nonverbal, deaf and hard of hearing students. I have volunteered in Teen Building Groups as a mentor/motivator encouraging students to do their best in spite of their current obstacles. I have excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking, organization and problem solving skills. I work well without supervision and I accurately perform challenging tasks with precision and attention to details.

Went to Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and Arts. Graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with bachelors in Mathematics and Computer Science. Current graduate student at UCF. I tutored in high school and undergrad, andI want to eventually become a teacher.Math is something that stuck with me since I moved from Japan to the USA. I truly believe that mathematics is a universal language, which led me tolove math.

I am a seasoned educational professional. I have instructed in various educational settings inclusive but not limited to public, private, and charter schools. My instructional range is as diverse as I am, as I have been a director of a private kindergarten and educated in a college classroom as well. Having several degrees and a teaching certification affords me the knowledge base to be effective in a variety of courses. In addition to my vast credentials my educational style is nurturing as I teach the way I would like to have my three children taught!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). I majored in Professional and Technical Writing and interned at The Writing Center at UALR for three years, assisting students and non-students in becoming better writers. I am comfortable in teaching anything writing related, from grammar to rhetorical theory. I have experience in writing scholarship essays and was awarded enough funds to help pay for my education. I currently work as a grant writer in the medical field and have co-authored successfully funded grants which have been awarded up to $3.8M.

I am a graduate of Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies where my area of concentrations are Biology, Psychology, and Education. I also hold to Masters of Education. One is in Middle School Education and the other is in Gifted, Talented and Creative Education. I currently teach7th grade advanced science and 8th grade physical science. I have taught for 13 years. I became a certified English Language Arts teacher (grades 7-12) in the state of Arkansas in 2009. I have a BA in English, with a minor in creative writing; plus, I have a Master's degree in Secondary Education. I have been tutoring since 2019. I love reading and learning, and I enjoy helping others meet their educational goals. I believe that everyone is capable of learning and that we all have our academic strengths and weaknesses.
