I currently work for the Carrollton Farmers Branch District as a Co-teacher since 2016. I have 13 years experience teaching, mentoring and tutoring General and Special Education students. I have serviced students with mild to severe cases of Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Asperger's and Autism. I have facilitated language using American Sign Language (ASL) and Augmentative Communication Devices for nonverbal, deaf and hard of hearing students. I have volunteered in Teen Building Groups as a mentor/motivator encouraging students to do their best in spite of their current obstacles. I have excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking, organization and problem solving skills. I work well without supervision and I accurately perform challenging tasks with precision and attention to details.
