I am not working, I playing my viola, piano or singing. My biggest passion is teaching and helping others. I love to guide and teach various programs and especially math.

I am very proud of my heritage, and working as a Russian tutor at UAA for 2 years, I had a chance to share my passion and appreciation of Russian language and culture with the other students. As an officer of International Student Association, I collaborated closely with a Russian Immersion School. Over 3 years many of its students came to me for tutoring.

I am excited to share with my students. These strategies include finding patterns in language, immersion, and using the etymology of words as a pneumonic for memorizing vocabulary.

I am an elementary school teacher with a passion for language arts, math, and thinking outside of the box! I have worked with many students with different learning styles, needs, abilities, and personalities.

I am a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a double major in Psychology and Natural Science and minors in Communication, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
