About Me

I am a high school science teacher and basketball coach. In addition, I teach Kinesiology at the collegiate level. I earned my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from University of Texas-Permian basin, where I also competed as a collegiate basketball player. I earned my master's degree in Sports and Human Performance from Sam Houston State University, where I also taught undergraduate courses and performed research. Science, sports, and the human body are my passions and my choice of study. In my spare time, I also enjoy nature, exercise, travel, and spending time with loved ones. I love to teach students about science, nature, the human body, exercise, and wellness. It is my lifelong dream and passion to share my knowledge with others to increase their level of understanding and overall quality of life. For Varsity Tutors, I tutor biology, AP environmental science, high school science, middle school science, and high school or collegiate kinesiology. Teaching is my passion, and I cannot wait to help you reach your goals!
