About Me

During my K-12 education I received tutoring in various areas including ESL, music and math. In high school I began tutoring because tutoring had been a positive experience in my life. In college I majored in Biology and minored in creative writing. During my four years at Scripps I had the opportunity to gain great conceptual understanding in both the sciences and humanities. I have always had a passion for learning. My curiosity for knowledge has allowed me to study in the humanities, the sciences, and in music. Over the past six years I have had various opportunities to tutor students in these subject areas. My main goal for these students, as well as future students, is to gain conceptual understanding of the material.
