I'm working with as an individual; I focus on the client's specific strengths, learning styles, and areas desiring improvement, and tailor my teaching approach accordingly. It is in this way that I ensure that the client is heard, comfortable, and getting the most out of our sessions.

I am a 31 year veteran high school teacher, having taught Special Education, Social Studies and English/ Language Arts in the public school setting. I am a life-long learner myself and have a passion for teaching and learning. Since my retirement in 2017, I have worked as a private tutor to several students in the area where I live. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than watching a student's face light up when they finally understand a concept with which they've struggled!

I am an out-going person who would love to talk about your reading list and identify ways for you to present your ideas clearly and forcefully. I love to travel and bring many of the experiences I have had with other cultures to sessions to help students broaden their perspectives.

I am a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and Oglethorpe University. I received my PhD in Political Science, along with several other degrees in the same field.
