I received my undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Stephen F. Austin State University and my Masters in Biological Sciences from LSU - S. I have 6 years of K-12 teaching experience, as well as tutoring experience, and I am currently a college professor of Anatomy and Physiology. I have worked as a tutor for my own students, privately and with Sylvan Learning Centers. I am very familiar with the STAAR and TAKS learning objectives and have worked with at-risk students, gifted and talented, special ed, and English Language Learners in Science and Spanish for grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11.
