I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 1996. I then decided I wanted to return to school to become a certified teacher. There are areas in each grade level that I enjoy so much. I believe all children can learn. Every child learns information and skills at their own pace and children have areas where they excel. It's perfectly fine to need some extra practice. Maybe having information explained in a different way or a different setting would be beneficial for some students.

When I am not teaching, I love to cook, organize, read, and spend time with my husband, 3 children and our dog.
