I am a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Instructional Studies with a minor in Visual Arts. I loved working with the Hickory Museum of Art in their education department. The experiences I had at the Hickory Museum of Art are what encouraged me to become a teacher of the arts.

I am proud to say that I am a lifelong learner. I have had the privilege of being educated across three different continents from Montessori, public, parochial, magnet, Ivy League, private, and adult learning institutions. I am currently a professional student at Mercer University working on my Doctor of Pharmacy. As an undergraduate, I attended Lenoir-Rhyne University where I double majored in Biology and Chemistry. Having tutored both subjects, I have been able to experience and explain a variety of problems and concepts that have given students trouble. My hope as a tutor is to help students overcome problems in their science courses and demonstrate that Science is fascinating!

I am a learner. I enjoy learning information and using that information to dive deeper into my interests, understand and see the world in a different way and most importantly, teach others. I feel that I am called to be an educator because it appeals to what I enjoy doing and keeps that curiosity alive.

I am driven to provide guidance and support for my students to help them overcome challenges and make learning a genuinely enjoyable experience. I utilize games as a primary tool for learning and find that students of all ages can grasp concepts better if they have fun.

I am passionate about learning and teaching real estate! I feel that real estate is an awesome career path and it can lead to a bright future with many opportunities. I earned my real estate license and then I went to move on to pursue my GRI designation and I continue to take additional courses to keep my skills sharp and broaden my scope in this field.
