About Me

Hi there! My name is Kristen and I am thrilled to be your tutor. I am currently a graduate student, earning my MA in English. I graduated with my BA in English and Creative Writing with honors (magna cum laude) and have published my poetry twice. When it comes to tutoring, I specialize in English, Literature, Writing, Poetry, and subjects of like nature. I am currently a writing coach at my local community college. I have helped hundreds of students with their writing and communication. I'm a firm believer in giving students the opportunity to both enjoy and learn. Writing, and doing it well, is a critical stepping stone in life. Which is why everyone should have equal opportunities. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and fictional prose, hiking, and traveling.
