I am passionate about all areas of content knowledge, including math, science, English, and history. Because I also value moral knowledge, I firmly believe that the good example of a high quality tutor has the potential make a world of a difference in a person's life. I was lucky enough to have my parents as my tutors throughout my childhood and I hope to provide the same services to others.

I am a graduate of Hillsdale College in Michigan, graduating with 2 majors and 1 minor: Mathematics and Political Economy and a French minor. I've tutored and taught in many different capacities, from middle school math in Florida to English in France. I am most passionate about teaching middle and high school students math, politics, history, and economics but can also teach singing, French, Russian, and literature.I've always had an unquenchable zest for learning, and the best way to learn is to teach! As the teacher guides and directs the student, invariably the students and teachers become partners in the learning process, helping each other make new discoveries about the world. The world is fascinating, and there is no end to the richness within!

I am an undergraduate student at Hillsdale College. I began tutoring two years ago, and I have worked with students ranging from four to sixteen years old, primarily in English and mathematics. It has been a privilege to watch every student grow and foster their love of learning. Education is necessary, but it is enjoyable too, and I hope to share that belief with my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, art, and social dance.

I am a graduate of Hillsdale College with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy/Religion and a minor in French. Currently, I am working toward my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I taught sixth grade for three years, and although I taught all subjects, I most enjoyed teaching English/Language Arts. I am passionate about helping struggling students find their confidence in academics and discover their potential through learning. Outside of tutoring and teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, and playing the piano.

I have five years of experience as a classroom educator. During that time, I have been trained in and taught Spalding Phonics and Singapore Math in first and second grade. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child meet their learning goals!

I am a recent graduate from Hillsdale College with a major in Political Philosophy and a minor in Ancient Greek.During high school, I participated extensively in Speech and Debate with the NCFCA and also tutored and coached other members of my club to improve their speeches. At college I have likewise helped others in an unofficial capacity with greek, American government, political philosophy, and literary writing. I am equipped to tutor a wide variety of CLEP tests, having taken and passed more than 20 credits worth during high school. Most of all, though, I am passionate about tutoring American Government and political philosophy, particularly by instilling in my students a love and excitement for these subjects so that studying them becomes a pleasure rather than a burden. When I'm not working on academics, I enjoy playing the cello, singing, journalling, and working out.
