I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching first grade for 19 years and love it. I especially love teaching reading - using up to date research techniques following the science of reading. I do enjoy making math fun and hands on as well. I am a mom to a 13 year old girl and 7 year old boy, so I have more than a few management and engagement techniques up my sleeve.
