About Me

I am very passionate about the benefits of education for becoming your personal best and for changing the world. I graduated from Elmira College with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. During college I was a peer tutor and a reading tutor at an elementary school. After graduation I moved to Japan and gained extensive experience in teaching English as a second language. I worked with students of all ages (2-88!), in one on one lessons, small classes as well as large corporate workshops. Some of my more unique experiences included training a student for a speech contest, learning lines with a Japanese actor for a role in an American film, and developing original curriculum for classes. Hobbies: books, traveling, music, baking, hiking, art, travel, reading, swimming, writing
