I am an elementary public school teacher in Connecticut, and have been in the classroom for 25 years! Currently, I work with students on Gifted and Talented programming and enrichment opportunities such as Future Problem Solvers, Invention Convention, and National History Day. I have also been a classroom teacher in grades 5 and 6 for 16 years, focusing on all academic areas. I have a 6th year certificate in Educational Administration from the University of Connecticut and a M.S. in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University. I am also proud to have graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a degree in Biology. I look forward to working with students to help them achieve their goals!

I graduated Eastern Connecticut State University with my Bachelors in Mathematics and Dance & Global Performance. I currently teach 10th and 11th grade Algebra 2. I am a graduate of Eastern CT State University where I received my bachelors degree in Math. After Eastern I went to Grand Canyon University where I got my masters in Secondary Education. I have worked in schools for the past 6 years ranging from Elementary schools all the way up to High School. My conversational style of teaching English has been very successful. Prior to teaching English in Ukraine for three years, I taught four years in the Hartford region for CREC. I was fortunate to have students from all over the world. This is very exciting for me and very rewarding. I have also taught EFL in Moscow, Russia for two years and while in the Peace Corps I taught English in Sierra Leone, West Africa. I have a BS degree in education from Eastern Connecticut State University and was a high school social studies teacher in Connecticut for five years. I love teaching and working with people to help them reach their goals. It is very rewarding. I am proud to say that I have helped people pass international English exams so they could continue their education in an English-speaking country, move to an English-speaking country, take jobs overseas, and travel to any country in the world. I teach conversational English which has been proven to be the best method of teaching a language. I am friendly, experienced and I am motivated to help my students. I currently am going into my sophomore year of college as a math major for secondary education! I am a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in New Media Studies, with a concentration in Media Computation. I decided to tutor, because I got a lot of help through my academic journey and I want to be able to help others like others have helped me. In my spare time, I sew, do photography, read, and play many tabletop and video games.

Writing is a passion of unexplainable intensity to me. Every day I think about the ways I can be a better writer, which often makes me a better thinker, and that's what I desire for everyone I tutor to also feel. That's the philosophy I've approached tutoring with in the past, both officially and unofficially, academically or otherwise.I not only want more people to feel excitement when it comes to writing, but I also want them to feel a sense of confidence. It is such a fun, and explorative, outlet for me and I find it hard not to want to share that experience with others, even if it is not also their passion. I earned my Bachelor Degree of Science in Biology in December 2016 from Eastern Connecticut State University. During this time I had the opportunity to tutor non-biology majors taking basic science courses in addition to being a teaching assistant in a human biology lab. Biology and anatomy are my strongest subjects to tutor. I am also well versed in biochemistry.
