I started teaching during graduate school at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign where I got my PhD in Physiology. I am currently a Biology Professor teaching Anatomy and Physiology as well as Genetics and Molecular Biology. My teaching philosophy consists of three parts, presenting information through different media types to help students who learn better visually, linking topics to current events, and providing skills students will learn outside of school. I believe these ideas will help students not only learn the material but will help them retain in by seeing how the ideas taught in class apply to their life. My areas of expertise primarily focuses on Biology, with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology as well as molecular Biology. I can also help with math and science down to the middle school level.

I graduated a Dean's Scholar from Clarkson University in May of 2013 with a double major in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering and two minors in Mathematics and Business. As leader of my aircraft senior design team, aerodynamics design team, and propulsion design team for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, I have had a great deal of experience in teaching others. I've dealt with mathematics and physics at all levels, ranging in math from algebra and trigonometry to calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra and in physics from projectile motion to fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and aerodynamics. As leader of several design teams, it was my responsibility to assign tasks to each team member to make sure we produced the most innovative, cost effective, and time efficient design possible. Getting to know the members of the team, it was clear that not everyone was always on the same page. To be a successful team, I knew that we all needed to understand exactly what we needed to do. So, on several occasions, I created brief PowerPoints of the applicable concepts to see where we needed the most work. I printed out relevant text and any sample problems I could find to aid in my teams understanding of the design criteria until we were all comfortable enough to proceed.Currently, I am employed as a consulting engineer for an engineering firm in Suffolk County, NY. Here, my work varies from preparing estimates to designing traffic signals and roadways and performing construction inspection. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing racquetball, volleyball, soccer, and volunteering at local ministries and outreach events. As a prospective client, I'd ask that you keep the following in mind: I tutor because I have a commitment to life-long learning. I tutor because I hope that I may be able to help students enjoy learning as much as I do. I believe that the student who is willing to learn is the student who will take the most from what life has to offer. All I ask of you is for your respect and for your effort. With a bit of hard work, I know we will make a difference in what ever we set our minds too!

I graduated from Clarkson University (NY) with Biomolecular Science diploma (with distinction) and since I have worked in my own biotechnology company.Teaching others is my passion and I am really good at tutoring. Back in college I was awarded the "Top 10 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant," mainly due to my commitment to students I worked with. Overall, I have tutored more than 300 students, ranging from 8th graders to PhD candidates.I am extremely good at biomedical sciences, thus my primary focus is on tutoring biology, chemistry (mostly organic), anatomy, physiology, biomedical research, genetics, and biochemistry. However, I am a published author and thus I possess strong writing skills, which helped me succeed with the SAT, MCAT, and college literature-based courses. To read and to understand what you read is one of the most fundamental strengths required on most standardized tests and in real life as well. If you have a problem with critical thinking, text analysis, or composing more complex pieces of writing (college personal statements, essays, etc.), I can help you with that!I practice what I preach and what I preach is one simple thing: there is nothing impossible in life. Everything what you want to accomplish is who and what you are. However, does anything in life come easily or even for free? Well, maybe sometimes... But most of the time you are expected to carry your own torch and prove what you are capable of. And that's when I come in and help you prove everything - even the most impossible.I am a very patient, out-going, outspoken, and extremely positive young guy whom you can talk to about everything. I understand that life not only brings joy, but also sorrow and complicated scenarios which we all must handle every day. Therefore, I am totally placable and the only thing I care about is to see you succeed. And if you like Rock & Roll or have some recommendations for a good movie to watch, you're already my best friend!

Throughout my academic journey, I have offered tutoring services across various subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Music (specifically Piano), but my greatest passion lies in Mathematics. My tutoring experience includes guiding high school students through complex topics such as balancing chemical equations, acid-base titrations, and determining oxidation numbers in compounds. Additionally, I have assisted students with calculations related to Kinematics, Electricity, and A.C Circuits, helping them grasp problem-solving concepts in Chemistry and Physics. Furthermore, I have provided piano tutoring to middle school students, focusing on teaching major scales, chord progressions, and techniques for improvisation, which enabled them to create their own music. My enthusiasm for Mathematics stems from its inherent enjoyment and fascination, driving me to continuously deepen my understanding and problem-solving skills. In my tutoring sessions, I employ simple yet effective methods to help students approach mathematical problems with confidence. I am deeply committed to assisting others in unlocking their potential to comprehend challenging educational concepts, thereby broadening their knowledge and skills.
