I am a Mechanical Engineer. At the moment though, I have decided to change directions and pursue a career in medicine. As I go to school part time and prepare for my MCAT, I am tutoring physics, mathematics, biology, and chemistry, here at Varsity Tutors with my spare time.

I am comfortable teaching almost any topic in math. I am also comfortable teaching any age group. I am a firm believer that all students learn differently and identifying how each student best learns is essential to his/her academic success. I am most passionate about are reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and phonics and elementary math. I also have experience teaching students how to be more organized and strategies in test taking.

I am most comfortable tutoring include Elementary Reading (comprehension, fluency, decoding, phonics, etc.) and Elementary Math, as I have the most experience teaching and tutoring students in these areas and grade levels (K-6). I have taught in public elementary, middle, and high schools at all grade levels K-12. I have taught in both brick-and-mortar and online settings.
