I am a firm believer in providing my clients with the tools they need to succeed without me, so I do my best to teach them not just specific algorithms for a given topic, but the overarching skills they will need in order to do their best in any math class.

I am also a certified reading specialist. I believe the best way to teach is to assess the learning style of each student, teach to their strengths and help them develop strategies to work around their weaknesses. That means helping them discover how they learn which is a skill they will use for a lifetime of learning.

I am currently in the process of applying to graduate school to get my Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

I am a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh who studied neuroscience and philosophy. I am applying to medical school to begin in Fall 2016, and tutoring to hold myself up until then. I also serve as a member of the Pittsburgh Health Corps, for which I work under the Maternal and Child Health and Chronic Disease Prevention programs of the Allegheny Health Department.
